GL! goldeneye on N64 was a great game, I managed to unlock every cheat on it! Completing facility at 00 agent level in under 2.05 was by far the hardest. I keep going through life telling them about this accomplishment but I always get blank looks.

the thing is that when you have already wiped out 20% of ur BR, you have lost it long long ago, way before you even care to stop playing. also, 10bi are soooo std as you probably know, so you need to learn how to deal with it.

you need to identify in urself what kind of thing start to push you over the edge and realize what you need to do in order to pull urself together or just step away for a while.

your internet connection it's not even an issue here, maybe not even poker knowledge. imho emotional control and preparation are the key for success.

Day 20, 8:46pm. At least I think it's Day 20... I haven't been keeping track. It's better not to think about such things, just take each day as it comes until there are no more days left.

Today was a breath of fresh air, they took us on an outing to the Zoo! Was incredible, I haven't been since I was a kid. Kinda wish I could have gone with someone special instead of my fellow subjects, but it was still great to see the animals.

I get in two minds about the Zoo. I love animals and love seeing them, but the cages bother me. There are a lot of mixed emotions. One of the amimals, a serval (member of the cat family), was pacing it's enclosure endlessly, looking distressed. I emphasize with them.

Pics of pink flamingo or gtfo? Ok:

This feller has been at the Zoo since 1936! In October, 2008, four teenagers entered his enclosure and bashed him nearly to death:

<a href="http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/outrage-at-flamingo-bashing/story-e6frf7l6-1111117898768</a>
. There was a massive public outrage at this, and rightfully so. Pretty disgusting that kids could get their kicks out hurting this defenseless creature; not only was it like 78 years, but it's also half blind. I am happy to say that today, two years since the attack, it seemed to have totally gotten over it. It was friendly and came right up to the fence and pecked at my arm and made strange noises.

This is a White Cheeked Gibbon, and boy was he noisy. Him and his buddies were so loud you could here them a fair ways from their enclosure. It was incredible how fast he could swing from limb to limb, navigating his way through the trees.

The Sumatran Tiger, asleep.

King of the jungle, gazing longingly at...

...this beauty.

Couple of giraffes, so weird to have them bend down and look at you with their strange faces.

Wang Wang the Giant Panda. Her and her mate Fumi came from China in 2008, and are the star attraction. Some information about them if anyone's interested:

<a href="http://www.giantpanda.org.au/</a>
.

Then back we went to our enclosure at the hospital.

Also,

Haven't played any poker today. Been watching the Solid State PLO series from DC, really good so far. Spent a few hours finishing off Goldeneye. Beat Aztec which took ages, beat Egyptian on 00 Agent in 2:50 (Beat the target time by a whopping 3:10 ) and beat Control on Secret Agent beating the target time by 2:50 and getting the unlimited ammo cheat. I'm a freakin master!

Have downloaded Zeitgeist: Moving Forward which I can't wait to watch, have to do it alone though. Need to give it my full attention.

Was wondering if anyone out there could recommend what they consider the better PLO video series on DC or BlueFire? I have a limit on how much I can downlaod and don't want to waste it looking for the good stuff. Cheers

You could probably write a good novel after this experience. If it was successful you could finance your roll that way.

Only 2k short for the buy-in of FTOPS 10k HU event. Let's chip in!

No, but seriously I wish I was in a hospital - could get some hands in being trapped in a facility with nothing else to do.

No but really seriously, all the best to you OP. Don't degen it again.

Awww yeah, it's horrible. Some of those animals just don't have sufficient space. There's no iron bars in nature.

If I won a billion dollars tomorrow and never had to waste another day of my life in the pursuit of money, I would work in an animal sanctuary, or do something like that. Or go live in the jungle :P

Thanks man, but I doubt enough people outside of these forums would care enough about some guy who blew his money "gambling" and then did nasty experiments in a laboratory as a way to redeem himself. I do however have an idea floating around in my head for a novel, I'll write it one day I wrote a short story when I was 17, but it wasn't very original, too many parts were influenced by my favourite movies at the time :P

Haha, if I had some life outs I'd probably consider taking some insane shot with the 8K, but I definately don't :P

And cheers to all the people wishing me well!

You could come live in the jungles in the Philippines for a couple of years comfortably with $8k

Or just crush penny poker and still live comfortably on a few hundred a month

No long term visas required like almost every other country, just come here and renew every two months, no hassle...

It wouldn't have to be directly your story. I was thinking more just a story of someone spending 31 days where you are.

Man, travelling to exotic countries replenishing your bank account with poker would be amazing. What's crazy is it's possible. Were you born in the Phillipines? Lived there long?

BTW why are they called the Phillipines? Forgive my uneducatedness.

Hehe, that'd be sweet. Not on this study, but when we all checked in there was one other guy in here. He was the last remaining member of his group, every other participant had been excluded from severe pulse rate drops (one guy almost went into cardiac arrest), and two guys went blind for a few days. So yeah, there are risks, but that was the only extreme case I have heard of.

Yep, Philippines.

Nah, I'm from the US, have been living in Asian countries for years but settled in the Philippines because everyone speaks English, it's dirt cheap, and there are no visa hassles.

Many of the travelers who come here try to come back for good. I would say as much as 5% return within the year. Many work part of the year at home, then live part here. But if you can beat penny poker online you take your money with you

The guy who suggested traveling is right. He said backpacking but here you can rent a house off the beach for $100 a month, on the beach for $300 a month.

You can hire a full time maid/cook, for about $60 a month.

All the stuff whitelime and selbst did was pretty good even tho its more mid-higher stakes stuff, 2x6 plo and limeaid plo was alright, and the deuce island series was pretty decent that was more lower stakes. The Omahawks series is alright too. These were all on DC btw.
