I've had this "problem" before too. I mean in England the highest denomination note is £50, which is kinda like $100 but huge. (It's practically a piece of A4 paper).

lol american money. The biggest banknote here is 1000chf (~940usd), and they don't look at you twice when you pay for random stuff with 200chf notes

Yeah but you'd be fine as long as there was a Scottish person nearby because as soon as you try paying with a Scottish note in England and the 16 year old spotty teenager serving you gives it a funny look as if to say "wtf is this?" quick as a flash, any Scottish person with in a 10 metre radius will run out with the immortal line "It's legal tendurrrrrrr!!!"

(Note for all of my colonial cousins out there - that's not a joke about Mr Dwan - it's the Scottish accent in written form)
