someone once threatened my life. i reported it to the cops. this was different tho - he was a punk mad over a girl and i mainly wanted to make sure if something happened to me that the idiot would get caught. i was pretty sure nothing would happen.
Two things you should do..
1. Call back the loser who threatened to kill you..this time..let him know you won't be bullied and that your door is open..hopefully he will call you back and threaten you again..record this ..
2. Contact the FBI as I feel this is a federal offense if it involves cargo, goods, property crossing state lines..
Good Luck.
el oh el at all u gunhappy morons wanting a shoot out
call police, explain all, report car stolen and stay at gf/friends/parents house for a couple weeks if u get anxious. this is huge bluff, no1 with the resources or the contacts to actually hef u killed wud risk it given how traceable he will be to police
Do newer model BMW's have the electronic key that can be opened remotely from anywhere?
Contact police and give full disclosure. I'm also pretty sure you have a case against the original shipping company. Once they hand you a receipt of agreement, they are liable for the car. Them giving the car to another company is not your or your insurance's concern(unless they told you that before you signed your name).
Normal human emotions to feel that the Todd character isnt bluffing, but let the authorities do their job. It's 2010, not 1904, they are good at what they do.
You gotta think odds here. What series BMW we are talking about? 745, 760, M6, 525 and any higher; its an instant report. I also recommend you to acquire a firearm as soon as possible , Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun prefered. Any lower series of BMW it would be -ev longterm to go to the police. Even though the death threat is unlikey to happen, there's still a slight chance and an old BMW M3 or such isnt worth the risk of losing your life. Also your death would preclude your ability to buy that Bentley Gt or what ever it is you're looking to buy with your future poker winnings.
