Contact police and give full disclosure. I'm also pretty sure you have a case against the original shipping company. Once they hand you a receipt of agreement, they are liable for the car. Them giving the car to another company is not your or your insurance's concern(unless they told you that before you signed your name).

You gotta think odds here. What series BMW we are talking about? 745, 760, M6, 525 and any higher; its an instant report. I also recommend you to acquire a firearm as soon as possible , Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun prefered. Any lower series of BMW it would be -ev longterm to go to the police.
