Just got back into poker, still suck at it

first cash game session 5NL

Dealt AA, got 3 bet by KK and shoved, doubled up

next hand, dealt AA again, villain (KK) raises, I re-raise, villain re-raises, I shove villain calls

bought in with $2.50 left with $25

What are the chances of AA vs KK dealt twice in a row? Couldn't believe my eyes, haven't felt a rush like this in a while

PS cant wait to see downside of this

Random factoid, I've never been dealt AA while someone at the table dealt KK in ~1500 hours of live no limit. I have been on the opposite end of that several times.

Unless either my AA or their KK went into the muck facedown at some point, it is actually true. A long shot, but true. Obv you have to take me at my word on that, and if you choose not to, that's fine.

I was once dealt AA and two other players at the table were dealt KK -- stacks went in preflop. $700+ pot at $1/2. Happy me.

Another time I was dealt AA, another player dealt AA and a third player dealt KK. The AA hands held up, we essentially chopped the third player's stack. Happy me.

Yet another time I was dealt KK, another player was dealt AA -- stacks were not all in preflop -- we both hit our sets on the flop. Stacks went in. He went on to make quads. Very unhappy me.

I was playing 2/5, IIRC effective stacks were about $700. I get AA, I make it 15, guy to my left goes 30, folds back to me, I make it 80, and he quickly makes it 180. Seemed quite clear he had the other AA, so I stupidly just thought well **** it and stuck it in. He snaps, has AA. Immediately after I wished I had tried to find a way to make him fold it, and the board ran out perfect for it, KQJ flop, turn 9, river blank. I could imagine second guessing myself on that flop though, and tricking myself into getting away from the hand.

Seen AA v AA V KK v KK (all in same hand) on partypoker once. Had like 10bb at the time with kings. I was like wtf is this.

I went bustoooo with AA two games in a row then AK, then I FOLDED AA ( not really folded, I timed out) saw the AA. And I WOUld have LOST!! I also lost with AA vs KK 1st hand of the heads up game. So... That's POKER ...
