so i'm playing 25-50NL at the wynn last night. i'm running decent and playing well and i'm up 15k with a 22k stack. two friends who play big on betfair come in the game, both buying in deep.

one of them was british and looked like he was about 16 opens for 175 in CO 8handed, i make it 700 in bb with A

, he makes it 2.2k, i RR to 6.6k, he thinks for like 2 seconds then jams, i snap call my 22k in (he covered). i flip my aces he cringes

flop- 10

someone asks if he has kings- "no"

turn- Q

i look over figuring i just got 2 outed, he keeps his hand down still looking like he has the loser

river J

he flips over AKo and drags the 900bb pot

new biggest pot for me...always on the wrong side

i'm sure he's probably a big winner online, probably breakeven or slightly better live. i see this all the time though when i play live, there are a lot of online players who just cant adjust to the dynamics of deep stacked live, or just live in general. (i really sound like a live pro there, ugh.)

You told me this story when we saw e/o at the golf course this afternoon. Just brutal. Like I told you then, he HAS to be an online player/pro to shove AK pre for anything more than 100BB. Sorry bro. So very gross :hug:
