Played for a short time yesterday and didn’t win a single hand. Only good hand I had was TT, but the flop was KJ5, one guy donked and the other went all-in - ugh fold. It was a very aggressive table, so I couldn’t really get out of line.
My buddy that keeps me grounded says it’s tough to develop a feel for the table in 90 minutes. He says either you have it or you don’t in those sessions unless you are super familiar with the players.
Didn’t lose much, but was just kinda stunned it never got pushed my way. I figure a little poker is better than no poker, but maybe I should just avoid playing short sessions like this.
What’s your opinion on short sessions? I don’t tilt, but maybe I’m better off waiting until I have more time to play. Anyone gone a really long time without winning a hand?
