Yeah, I need that stake now. ty
08-19-2009 , 11:21 PM
Thanks. 75-game stake will begin soon. I guess I'll use my Twitter for updates on that
08-19-2009 , 11:25 PM
nm, Twitter is too slow and useless these days. I get the whale every other click now

Can't do anything in 360s, since there's at least 5 people in every hand, no matter how much you raise preflop. A shove is considered a 3bet in these, and the whole table will call your shove to see a cheap flop
08-20-2009 , 12:44 AM
In other words, nothing you say works in these. Trust me
08-20-2009 , 12:49 AM
Bandi you know winning a 360 once pays for about 100 times you bust out? (I'm assuming that math is wrong) but it is normal to lose more often then you win because one win recovers so many losses and gives you profit. Its annoying to shove with AK and get called by AJ and lose, but it happens to everyone. Put in lots of volume, your sharkscope shows you are winning them.

yes, I need to remember that. The Law of Large Numbers is my friend. 1st is 85 buyins.

THe problem is, I've used 500 different strategies. After 5000 of these, I'm still clueless how to play them

Game 1: Lost with AA vs K6 (ai pf)
Game 2: Lost against a 'tricky' woman limping AA utg. probably some texan lady that thinks she's such a clever amazing poker player. Probably works at Pokrestars

The clue is surely NOT to play 500 different strategies.

I mean, mate, come on - the volume you have put in on these and the fact that you have a +roi on them, suggests to me that you can beat them.

Play solid. I know you don't want several callers to your pre-flop raises/all-ins, but if you get it in good more often than not, then you will be in front long term. Don't be results oriented as "they" say.

Btw - you're not the first player in the history of poker to be trapped by someone limping AA.

Regain your focus and crush this stake like you know you can.

Multi table just enough of them to prevent you from looking at the results of the races.

If you hear one get closed because you lost don't sweat it. Just add another one.

You take the beats to personally.

Biggest level in the history of poker. You watch, 6 months from now Bandi will declare that he's rolled for NL1000 and they'll be about 10,000 people waiting to play at the table. He'll turn out be Ivey or something.

LOL...now if that's where your poker experience had led you to, then good luck Bandi..just kill all the skills and go for the luckfactor, good decision making there, especially with your luck when it comes to flips.

BandiChime has the skills and experience to pull off a nice BR........I've played with him and watched him for a VERY LONG time, he runs worse then anyone I have ever met. If he could get a little luck on his side he would kill it. He loses ALL flips........no BS...

I think he honestly would feel bad about losing other's money even if it's peanuts to you.

It is one thing I truly admire about you Bandi - for real.

I totally agree, I always stake Bandi, He is a good guy...

That would've been a good bet before today, but I'm going back to my old style of play in MTTs. Unfortunately, I wasted about 8 months trying to play 'correctly'. 2 things happened when doing that: 1) I started to run really bad, and 2) I got really really really bored of poker. The more I learned, the worse I got. But now I've finally figured it out. If you watch me play now, you're not going to see yet another poker pro with the boring 3x raises, 2/3 pot bet, 3-bet/4-bet metagame, quality hand vs quality hand, etc etc etc vomit. I've come full circle and have returned to my donkish style of play that's profitable and not boring. One of the new tricks I've added to my arsenal is not folding. Seriously. Just fold preflop. No, really, you don't want to call my huge donkish raise thinking 'hehe this is great, he just donked off a ton of chips to win 20 chip blinds. I'm going to call the raise because he's a donk and I can "outplay" him postflop'.

One of my posts was deleted, that's why I have to post one more post. Also, I don't fold. Yeah, no. Just don't. If you don't have anything, don't call my huge preflop raises thinking you can outplay me postflop. Here's a tip I learned playing 360s: You can't outplay someone THAT NEVER FOLDS. I don't take bad beats anymore, I serve them. I WILL THROW AWAY MY TOURNAMENT ON THE BUBBLE JUST TO BAD BEAT YOU. THAT'S MY ONLY PURPOSE IN LIFE NOW BAD BEATING ALL YOU IDIOTS THAT BAD BEATED ME FOR 8 SOLID MONTHS. EVERY FINAL TABLE: MY AK LOSES TO AQ.

That's all I wanted to say. Don't be judging my play style anymore. I have no play style except that of an aggro donk. I'll raise a quarter of my stack with 26s on the bubble, and you will reraise with AA, and I will SHOVE, EVEN IF YOU SHOW ME YOUR AA. I hope I've made this clear. The part about not folding. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: my 26s will crack your AA. When you play like an aggro donk, you get good luck.

Summary: Hi, I don't fold. Sorry to waste your time reading this post.

Ok....can someone please just come straight out and tell me if Bandi is serious or not. I know he is legendary on here but for what I'm not sure because I've hardly read any of his posts and I can't be bothered trying to work it out for myself.

FWIW I think the above post is hilarious whether he's levelling or serious so I'm loling no matter what.

Just want to know what the Bandi story is without a bunch of levels for replies....but I know that's impossible.

WTF is Bandi?
