the idea is that its kind of fun and you could potentially end up donating more then you would have normally... i think most people iif they have a losing 1k hands will still donate some money

I dont play onn Stars, but I do play on FTP and just donated for the FTP donation tournments.

I live in South Florida and have visited Haiti on a mission trip about 9months ago. And I just want to tell you guys that what the news says is not even close to how bad it really is. My prayers are out there for these people.

good stuff op. i've been wondering for a while would it be possible to have a donate to charity option in the cashier on a permanent basis? surely it wouldn't be hard for poker sites to join up with some respected charites so you could withdraw some money to their accounts.

OP, this was a great idea. I donated via the Pokerstars fund. I just started my online account so couldn't do more than $25. But i've sent 2% of my BR to the Red Cross and urge everyone to dig deep.

I've worked disaster sites before and the magnitude of the destruction is simply incomprehensible unless you see it first hand. T.V. just does not capture it or do it justice.
