400 buy ins in one month? That's 13bi+/day? If he plays 24 tables, I'd think it won't be that hard to win 1/2 buy in per table in 1 day, especially since Doug has played and won as high as 5/10nl.

Guys who are bettting against Doug, can you explain why you think this is too hard for him to accomplish?

but how long will it take to win 1/2 buyin per table? it's not like he'll be up against experts at 25nl. Given his poker talent, this sounds doable if he's got those Khanesque multi-tabling skills.

You guys are wrong, I think, the ones who's saying he's crazy or it can't be done.

I multitable like a MF, and I think (especially for someone who is a better poker player than I am), and doing some simple math - say at a MAXIMUM - like, human limits here, but it can be done, he averages 13 hours a day, for 31 days, about 400 hours. And 10,000/400 is 25...meaning he has to average 25 dollars an hour. Obviously the hours will vary, his rate will vary, and most likely he won't get in 400 hours that month. But he certainly will run better than $25/hr if he 22 tables.

So he basically has to run at 4BB/100 and 24 table about 10 hours every day. Sounds quite impossible to me. I think he will have to step it up to 15+ hours each day since 4BB/100 should be difficult at full ring.

I think youre right, I just woke up from a nap and read it wrong.

But check my post above, i'm basically saying i'll handle any small wagers that people want to make and leave the big action to others that wouldnt want to deal with small stuff. It's more of a service to the community tha a vested interest in this specific bet. I figure with the stakes Doug is playing there might be a few microers of these stakes that want to wager like half a buyin or whatever.
