You too?
I think I lost just exactly the same, my first losing month since January.

The last session in August was the worst despite hitting Quad Aces twice within 30 minutes... One was on the flop, the other was runner runner.
Amazingly they both held up to win.......... small pots.

I had to take a week off to get my head straight, and I am now two for two for September....

LOL @ Commerce... this is what a forgotten apostrophe can do:

Quote:
Were rockin over 240 tables.
Instead of "We're rockin;" (second missed apostrophe not as important), it's
"were" rockin, meaning they were rockin at one time, but they aren't any more. Way to advertise how much you're losing business!

OK, here's some LC:

Mom's got to be at the doc for an hour. It's around the corner from CAZ so, naturally, that's where I go. 4-8 seat open? OK! Make quad 9's which never happens to me in the 20. Button on one hand is a dealer who says he's going to call blind so I say I'll call blind also. Folded to me, I call blind, he calls, both blinds come along. Blinds check, I bet blind, button looks and calls, blinds fold. Turn I say 'I've got to look' say 'OOooooooo, looks what I found' and bet, button calls. I bet river, he folds. 8-3o bluff works in a 4-8 game.

Won 10 BB in a half hour. I just might switch limits.

Let's say 3 people are staying in a hotel room, two of them are a couple and one is a good friend, they have two beds obv. They stay for however many nights and the total hotel bill is $300. Who owes what? Bear with me if this seems super obvious to you, an "obvious" answer would help me out a lot.
I don't know how you expect us to answer this without knowing if the friend is hot and will either hinder or foster night time relations.

Steelers, Titans at end of regulation. Both warriors. I hate it that you get the ball at the end of regulation, tho.

Now I really hate it.

He also never mentioned whether they are getting one king sized bed or two queens. Important information before we can answer the question, imo.

Just kidding, please continue.
The hotel room question will hereforth be known as the Disneyland dilemma.
09-11-2009 , 03:38 AM
can we change it to the great disneyland dilemma of 2009?

You don't charge your wife's friend anything, are you some sort of a nit? Does this really need a two day thread/discussion? Isn't it obvious?

Just switch the room to one king bed, and tell her the room, and drinks, are free.

The more you give, the more you get.

so many arguments can easily be solved by the flip of a coin.

Unless, of course, you are dealing with family. In that case, the more you give, the more you give.

Waiting around for authorized Maytag repairman to come and replace a faulty relay in your fridge who doesn't show the day he is supposed to may be worse.

heres how you should approach any argument

1) state your side with a few reasons why
2) if they still disagree, get them to agree to other statements that you can draw from to support your own argument
3) if they still disagree, get them as close to supporting your side and as far from there side as possible
4) then offer a compromise, if no compromise can be reached, flip a coin to decide the outcome

if you cant get them to agree with you completely, step 3 is very important to maximizing the amount you get from a compromise.
