I have been playing for a couple hours, playing relatively tight (listening to CASH PLAYS) on my i-phone... any ways two MP players limp, I look down at QJ off in the small blind and I complete and BB checks his option. Flop comes 2-5-7 rainbow, I check, BB fires, he is easily the best player at the table, very aggressive, young, I overheard him talking about playing 50-100 in vegas. 1 player calls the other folds and its to me, I figured he would fire on just about any low flop as he only checked his option, so I decided to flat and see a turn card with only overs and a plan. was gonna check raise just about any turn card, however i changed my plan when turn came. Turn was a Q, bingo! ? I checked, the villain bet, MP player folded and I decided to just flat call. Should I of checked raised? river was a K and I led for a bet and he called and I scooped. So, how bad did i play this??

Pretty bad. The reason people fire low flops when they check their option is because they usually hit the flop. Not sure why you didnt cr the turn if your hand was good enough to bet the river.

Maybe just me, but if there was someone you consider to be good to your left- I would take out the ear buds and key into what he is doing. I would be eager to learn something from how he plays.

I agree with c/r turn, its a good scare card for a tag to bluff raise into, since he is not giving you credit for cracking his 74o anyway.
