Might say "almost", but agree. Dude has 5.5 small bets to start the hand. He's not happy about life. Most people don't play their normal game when that near the felt. Having put 4 of the 5.5 in preflop, his willingness to put in the last 1.5 in with a mountain in the middle isn't meaningful. The only way I'd read it would be that by donking he's facing the field with 2 potential bets rather than 1.5 by check/raising. Does he want fewer customers?

Do you know how to count your pot odds? Do you know how to approximate your equity?
Pot is huge. We can figure equity, which is good. Fold? nah

Hero tanks raises the remaining two chips to put villain all in but hero claims he had a read on the villain to make a case for folding. Can hero ever fold on this flop?
Tank raises in limit? That's terrible. What read can you have? If it is good enough to fold, then there's no hand to discuss. Let's go back to making reads on guys who are nearly felted -- my read is that most of them don't play normal. I guess the read would have to be strongly that he's going home if he loses and he really doesn't want to go home.
