I'm pretty sure I'd recognize captain R again if I actually looked for him, but when you don't know someone is there and you aren't planning to play the 40....you know how it goes. and yeah, I didn't get a seat til almost 8pm (even though I called ahead at 4:30, got there at 5:15, was 20th on the list, and decided to hit and run another casino for an hour).

going to vegas in a couple hours. after blowing through 20k yesterday online i am totally not looking forward to playing live 30/60 or whatever crapfest game i will end up playing for 4 days. at least i won't be able to lose 20k like i did last summer since i will not be bringing much money with me this time around. i hate vegas yet i have to go at least once a year amirite?

vegas is the nut low, but i've never been.

someone prop bet me i can run 2 miles in 12 minutes or less within 30 days.

i weigh 182 lbs, i am 5 foot 9 inches.

i'm vegan

i had my first 100k+ week last week at poker, and it was pretty fun.

won around 50k in LA, took mark seif for around 25k at 200400 HU (over several different sessions), and then had some other random win-aments.

i'm about to go to RPAC according to OSU it is the largest gym in the country. I usually swim laps run on the track, hottub, then ride my bike around columbus.

ahh life is great.

First of all, thanks for not posting in forever and then scrambling home to reply to my post.

And yes, I love playing 3-handed with the best player in the area to my left. I strategically gave him have best position for 2 out of the 3 scenarios because I hate money.

Lastly, good job in quitting to go eat dinner and play trivia or whatever the next day because I got in a short-handed game with some favorites and perhaps my downswing is now over.

LDO. That's not the point. I was responding to Ben's comment by posting a thin value bet ruined by double paired board. Next time I'll search for an example that will wow you.

Wow, why would a guy who loves to drink and play and sometimes foolishly drives home not go to Vegas?

I play and win at high stakes poker, and I get 95% of my food from the trash.
I became kind of well known on 2p2 as a "dumpster diver"

Here is the thread on it:

wow, I didn't realize that I had met a high stakes dumpster diver in person. I would have gladly given you my sausage and eggs leftovers when we went for breakfast.

ps. i can read your value bets like a book.

that guy in the 40 game with sailboats. you had a pair or two and I snuck away cheaply. I also tied you in tic-tac-toe.

Sorry my joke about sausage and eggs didn't go over. Do vegans eat eggs?

Jesse, I think you mentioned you wanted a big neon batman sign or something pointing out where all the whales were? Since you also want to know who HH is, maybe we can kill two birds with one stone.

The most painful thing is that it was $5 at a time so I couldn't be embarrassed all in one fell swoop it had to be a left-right combo of punishment.

From this week's CardPlayer magazine:

CP: Which cash game players do you think are the most talented, and why?

David Benyamine: That is hard to say, because there are many. In live games, the players I respect are Phil Ivey, David Oppenheim, and Johnny Hennigan.

CP: Any lesser-known online pros?

DB: There is a player with the name "ICallSoWhat" online; I don't know his real name. I think that he is one of the best pot-limit Omaha players.

___

Conclusion: PLO skill doesn't translate to stud 8.
