Live 20-40

V1: LP calling station, but with occasional dashes of weird FPS aggression. Capable of showing ATC in most spots. Views me as overly aggressive and frequently tries to k/r me.
V2: Decent, standard type player. Tries to play solid. Does not spew. Probably a small loser.

Preflop: V1 limps from CO, V2 raises BTN, I call 97o from the BB.
Flop (3 players, 6.5 SB) : T83 rainbow. I check, V1 checks, V2 bets, I raise, V1 folds, V2 3!, I call.
Turn (2 players, 6.25 BB): A, making a backdoor flush draw possible. I check/call.
River (2 players, 8.25 BB): 9, no flush. I check/fold.

think i'd just call flop, river seems fine.

maybe c/r turn instead of bet. cant 4bet then give up. i think still bet.

Huh? I interpret V2's 3b as considerable strength, and that he is never folding. I play it the same.

There is a small chance he has 9J/9Q/JQ or Ax, or a hand we could bluff off. But in these cases, we're better off delaying until turn: we can x/r bluff turn for more $$, or else get a free card and still have the chance at donk-bluffing the river.

Why have a 4b range at all? With a strong hand, we'd want to x/r turn for more $$. Only exception would be if villain often donk-checks turn.

This is like every mediocre players favorite play all the time. When villain 3 bets flop my guess is he checks turn over half the time
