Something is really off in my game lately.

Yesterday, I call KTo 4 ways in the BB, flop broadway, check-raise MP better, bet when turn pairs Queen, and bet blank river. He raises, I show him the straight and muck without calling, he shows me QJ for the house.

Today, I limp KQs UTG (don't ask), call a raise from the double bracelet winner, check-raise the Queen high flop, then bet/fold when he raises blank turn. He shows me AA.

In a vacuum these seem like good laydowns, but good laydowns aren't part of my game. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm getting too passive or subject to MUBS. Despite the laydowns I'm down two and half racks the last two days...

If you made those calls, would you be down less or more?

Very nice, Doc - you *know* she can dance!

You have to watch out for these budding talents, though. My high-school senior daughter was dragged into performing in a musical by a friend a few years back. One show was all it took, she was hooked and now:

brag: she just auditioned for, and got accepted to, her number one college choice - NYU, majoring in vocal performance/musical theater.

obv. More, but maybe I'm folding winners in other hands. I'm just getting the feel with certain players won't bluff me in those spots.

Salagen ( Pilocarpine). Taken four times a day, Salagen pills have been shown to provide significantly increased saliva flow and relief of dry mouth. Saliva flow can start to increase as soon as 20 minutes after you take Salagen and the increase can last for 3 to 5 hours. Peak effectiveness is about an hour after you take Salagen. Since it’s difficult to eat when your mouth is very dry, many people time their Salagen dose to be taken an hour before mealtimes.

I'll still give 1:3.

I have to man-up and confess a massive fail on my part. Last night I hosted a lil get together here in Scottsdale. The event was well attended by the CAZ 2p2 regs, jesse, Sam and myself. I hope a good time was had by all.

Here's the part where I have to write my name on the Wall of Shame. Shortly after jesse and I arrived at CAZ early yesterday afternoon, I met up with HB and he told me about an OOT thread he created in honor of his 60th birthday, which was Tuesday. I thought it would be a nice gesture to get him a birthday cake and celebrate the occasion with his 2p2 homies. Jesse and I even left the CAZ early and went to Albertson's to procure said cake, along with two candles- one in the shape of a "6" and the other a "0". Since it was an ice cream cake, I put it in the freezer for safekeeping until dinner was over.

It should go without saying that all of us were pretty festive by the time the caterer cleaned up. HB and pope left kinda early and I even managed to lose my glasses and am now making this post with my prescrition sunglasses. This morning, I went looking for them again and was determined to scour the place in an effort to find them. I even looked in the freezer.

My glasses weren't there.

HB's cake was.

leo you once again establish that you are both a gentleman, and one damn amusing guy when you tell a story

Happy Birthday HB.

When I got home, I remembered about the cake. Since Howard left before me, it was too late to call you guys to remind you.

I appreciate that HP, I truly do. That said, I'm looking forward to DC's recounting of last night's festivities. It goes without saying that he's one damn fine storyteller and I hope he doesn't forget the part about us getting thrown out of the hot tub area after having been warned about "excessive noise" by the management guy.

I'd prefer that he post in the B&M thread, but doing so here would be fine as well. Perhaps SS will add his $0.02 here in mslc.

I take it SS was the sober one?

As of May 1st Hustler Casino will no longer accept chips from other casinos, if you guys go there before then you should complain. It's just too dangerous of an area to bring 3k+ cash especially when people are getting robbed all the time in LA

Yeah, right.

As soon as I got to CAZ today, I saw DC in the 60/120 (kill game, too). When I tapped him on the shoulder, he was in the sb and flashed me the mighty 64o. Utg or utg+1 opens, otb 3-bets, DC lays the wood to 'em and caps.

Flop is all paint and I don't remember if he b/f'ed or c/f'ed.

He did tell me not to try that at home though.

if youre gonna be selling pottery outside of a store, dont place the pottery next to the trashcan or it will inadvertently become a trashcan/ashtray itself. i tested this theory by peering into one of these pots and sure enough there were some cigarette butts.
