Fairly new at the table so no great reads...Tables seems to be funny breed of mostly loose passives, who will wake up on raised pots to call behind "because the pot is big". One, very loose LAG, not a maniac, named Ryan, who is currently killing the table. He is UTG and straddles.

Pre-flop action goes.
Three people coldcall in late early position and middle positions. It comes around to me in the SB. I raise, LAG (UTG) caps it and everyone calls!

Flop is 9 8 5 rainbow.

Somewhat connected flop, but at least it's rainbow.

I decide to bet, LAG raises, 2 cold calls, I re-raise, LAG cap's, 2 cold calls.

Turn (18BBs) is 6 completing rainbow.

I check.

Interested in comments on all 3 betting turns.

well played thus far.

as for the turn, c/c one bet, c/f for two bets.

its usually the case that a cap is 5bets when theres a straddle and the normal cap is 4bets.

so maybe you couldve 5bet preflop.

Nice bet to let the lag clear the field drawing to (hopefully 2 outs). You can also just flat the lags raise, wait for a blank and c/raise the field which can also save yourself money if you check, lag bets, gets raised and you make a read whether or not to fold or cold call 2.

Another idea can be flatting the bet, donking a blank turn and having the lag once again clear the field. Depending on how the lag plays, on the river I would donk again.

So the turn went Lag bets, several calls, including me.
River is a brick, helps no one. I check, LAG bets,
At this point I am sure the LAG has a 7, but how can I not call with over 20BBs
in the pot.
