Villain is 45/25 over 40 hands. He's just joined the table, these stats are from another session. He doesnt strike me as a good player...

Meh, any other way to play it?

such a weird line i don't see how anyone's gonna offer much. if people have run into monsters a lot facing this preflop/flop line then it's standard. if they run good in the spot, it's bet flop or bet turn. i feel pretty neutral and i'm teetering on betting the turn and river once he checks twice, but i don't fault the 2nd check behind and after doing that the river call is not debatable.

I also normally check this flop thinking either he got a monster or he is determined to make fold and in both cases he is going to checkraise, which I dont like. The same logic goes for turn.

i think he has AQ or AK a lot, so i like your line

If we check turn we have to call river so why not betfold turn? Giving him 6 outs twice with worse hand doesnt fell right.

If were sure Villain's just gonna call down w/ KQ or KT and not gonna cr with any weaker hands, this might be the play. Other than that, I don't see much value in flop or turn bet, plus we can induce a bluff from an occasional Q hi or worse, so I like OPs line.
