UB says I referred a friend, but I didn't UB says I referred a friend, but I didn't

For obvious reasons, I haven't played at UB for a long time, but still have maybe $10050 sitting in my account. Today I receive an e-mail from them saying I've referred a friend and they've downloaded software, etc.

I think it's likely spam, so I log on to UB, check the cashier and, yes, "I" referred a player this morning, who downloaded the software. Of course, I didn't do this.

Does this mean I've been hacked or is it simply a clerical error on their part?

I hesitate to contact them because they're dead to me after all the crap they've pulled in the past.

I don't want or care about the bonus, I'm just concerned about hacking.

Any thoughts? Similar experiences? Thanks.

Why do you have 10k there if you aren't playing there?

As you said, "they'er dead to me".

As someone who hates UB less than most, it was probably a clerical error. That being said, I wouldn't leave $10K with them, even when they were giving 9% interest on bankroll balances. Cash that $hi7 out, even though I still play there occasionally, UB is the most likely to fly the coop with your money if anything goes awry.

Shoot. Terrible typo on my part. It's $50. I had typed $100, then checked and it was only $50 and f'd it up when I edited.

I fixed my post just in case you made any other typos.

maybe you used to be one of those youtube spammers who tries to get referral bonuses by posting comments and you finally got a sucker???

just flip the $50 a few times and cash out something or go busto. then, if you've got no money on there and have no intention of playing there in the future, who cares if it's hacked?
