Rakeguard is banned for a month for violating a ton of rules after endless warnings.

Wow, here is a shocker. Kingsfall has 31 posts from Rakeguard's IP address. They also have several shill posts pumping Rakeguard, one of which complains about RTR. This is getting bad. I think I'm going to do some more research here. As I uncover more of this tangled web I'm sure there will be a lot of permabans.

Although there are a couple of others from the same country/ip making borderline posts kingsfall is the only obvious shill account I can find. I guess I'll leave it at that and hope that everyone knows they can't get away with this stuff. Rakeguard is on their last life when they come back in a month.

RakeGuard has never spammed me and their support is incredibly helpful just like pokerstars support. I have asked for alot of life advice from their support via aim and I agree it sucks that these people slave for rakeback sites on here when they could be playing poker and making thosands more. RakeGuard is legit and positive and they have hot chicks that work for them but this is just sad...

RakeGuard (5:51:17 AM): I used to play a little. I still enjoy home games
ErikRyland08 (5:52:37 AM): home games are not how you make a living

CliffNotes: Erik Ryland approves of RakeGuard. (kinda)

Im not even a high stakes player but they seem to go "beyond the call of duty" for me. Example, one time I contacted them with an issue I was having with FTP (even though it was not rakeback related) cause I was not getting any real help from the FTP reps. Instead of getting a response like "this is not our problem, contact the card room" RakeGuard contacted FTP on my behalf and somehow got them to respond to me and resolve the issue within a few hours!

I am impressed with these guys, and I haven't read any feedback from anyone to suggest that they are slacking in any way with their services. I have used other rakeback companies (RakeTheRake) before for other card rooms and never had an experience even close to the what I get from RakeGuard. To top it off they give you "free" stuff like money and Stoxpoker subscriptions (which any average player can easily qualify for, I got both in my first month with them I think).

Hope this answers your questions!

haha way to make it obvious spamming for RakeGuard

Rakeguard is definitely an honest and reputable affiliate. I wouldn't hesitate going with them.

right, that dont surprise me. is this what shilling is? misrepresenting oneself to self promote?. personally i expect that people would go to these lengths when money is involved. is this what they where banned for? spamming? or are there other reasons.

also how do i find out who has been banned, and for what reason. is there like a list of sham or something?

what?

i dont understand this exchange, was this a conversion? are you saying rakeguard should play more poker? and not focus on his affliate business?

it seems to me a smart move to start a affiate business, tons of money in it. you dont need to understand poker to make money from it, apparently. you just need to understand the business. imo.

My personal opinion is that rakeguard is a great site. I use RakeGuard for both Cake and FTP. They are great with FTP as my cashouts are processed in 1-2 hours.(got my last one in about 20 minutes) With Cake, they only pay me once a month. Customer support is incredibly fast, however, and my questions are answered without any issues. I'd give them my recommendation.

Can anyone explain to me exactly what happened?

Rakegaurd does a lot of promotion on the site that I normally post on.

I haven't had a problem with them yet, they take a lil while to update the total rake but that might just be because I play at cake poker.

Been with them for about 3 months now and have not had a problem. They also have a Stox promotion going on which is pretty cool but probably not as helpful for me because im a uNLer.

P.S. I am not RG so please dont ban this account =).

I think Rakeguard has lost the right to have a thread here while they are banned. OP got what they are looking for. The shills have bashed competing affiliates and Rakeguard violated countless 2+2 rules. Thread locked.
