I actually got a few emails.

Hi xxxx,

Unfortunately we cannot say exactly when the payments will be made. We keep checking with them for updates but since they cannot give us a timeframe we cannot promise a date which we are unsure of.

Regards,
Matt

Do you have any idea on the extent of the delay, to distribute the rakeback?

OK, maybe I stand corrected. I guess my point is that it is at this point rakeback is one day late. It certainly isn't panic time.

Anyone get their Rakebrain AP RB?

They come on here yesterday with some crap saying the problem is solved and RB will be delivered shortly. And then I get a reply from an e-mail today saying there still is a problem. Which is it? Good business pratices and straight forward HONEST answers go a long way. And the opposite can be the recipe for failure. I would NOT recommend any of my friends to them.

Just thought I should mention you might not see a reply here, as they were banned because their user name is not allowed according to 2+2 rules. It may have been back when they registered, I'm not sure. They are welcome to have it changed so they can post here, but I'm not sure if they've asked and how long it takes.

I know I've seen problems with them here before; it seems they have them a little more often than other affiliates, but AFAIK they've always been resolved in the end. Hopefully that's the case again now.

We did get banned in the forum due to the user name, we did not know of the rule so apologies for the lack of communication in this thred as well.

First thing's first: Full Tilt Poker

All rackeback affiliates doing monthly rakeback payments send a spreadsheet to Full Tilt Poker for payment. The spreadsheet we sent for October had an error in it, and to our surprise it got paid almost instantly before we had the chance to stop it and correct it. As explained earlier, all players were paid on 30% instead of the allowed 27% so this had to be corrected player by player for November.

AP/UB - All payments have now been done. We noticed that since the merge to Cereus our player stats were not correct. We of course wanted to make sure that our players were paid correct amounts, with rake numbers from pre Cererus merge and after included. There was also an issue with players not appearing in the stats after the merge. Ensuring we got the correct stats from UB/AP is what caused the delay.

Delay in customer support response - Due to the above problems, our customer support has seen very large amount of support queries. As AdamSchwartz pointed out these issues concerned thousands of players. We've been doing our very best to reply to the queries in a timely matter, however we are aware of the fact that the response time has been slower than usual and for this we apologise. We are however back on track now.

Please contact us if you have any further questions regarding the above stated.

We are sorry for all the inconvenience the issues has caused our members this month.

In the members area it says you plan on switching to weekly payments in the future - how soon can we expect this?

Before '09?

Hi DrMontalban,

Unfortunately it is impossible for us to implement this before 09. Switching to weekly payments is a little bit more complicated than it sounds. We need to make major changes to the way stats imports are handled etc. We can't say an exact time when the weekly system is in place but we are already working on it. Please email our support and we'll explain further.

Technically speaking, non-approved affiliates aren't allowed to identify themselves in the forum. We make exceptions sometimes when there's an issue that needs addressing, which was the case here. I'd encourage everyone to go back to asking their questions by email when possible, or now that you know who they are on here, you can PM them.

Not trying to be a nit, it's just not fair if we hold other affiliates to a different standard. We appreciate RakeBrain having come in and addressed people's concerns, though.
