Ladbrokes (Prima/Microgaming) - New Spin on Rakeback Ladbrokes (Prima/Microgaming) - New Spin on Rakeback

I thought it was worth pointing out that, given the bizarre chicken and egg rakeback policy that Prima have (where you can’t tell players about rakeback until they sign up with you, but why will they sign up with you if you can't offer them a deal?), Ladbrokes have come up with a brilliant twist on the whole system.

They have now scrapped the rakeback that they used to offer to all players.

Instead they have replaced it with a $1,000,000 rake race which pays the top 3000 players.

Looking at January's numbers the payouts look pretty damn good

In January the top prize was $25,000 for 6333 points.
The bottom prize was $100 for 45 points.

One of the team here play at Ladbrokes and we've worked out that 45 points is approximately $180 in rake (give or take a few dollars..it's not an exact science)

This means last place got about a 55% return on their action (winning $100), and the top player got about a 98% return (winning $25,000)

There's a monthly $1m race each month until April, and of course they'll be coming up with something after that. But given the rake of the player in 3000th place last month, there is still plenty of time for 2+2ers to finish up the leaderboard for Feb also with 23 days left.

Thought this was a nice above table way of getting a great return for Prima/Microgaming action.

Best wishes

Not really part of Microgaming though, are they? I thought it was just the mid-level tables and up that were combined.

Not yet after FEB 10
But not full
they will share low stakes cash games with UNIBET
and only higher stakes with rest of microgaming

I raked 2k in january, 500 points in the race and got $600. Exactly the same as the old 30% rb.

Makes sense...

According to the table here

I think in your case it was coincidence that it worked out at 30%..if you had got 509 points (approx 2050 rake) you would have got $750 which would have been 36.5% return on play.

Best wishes

It is a wonderful idea since it can still give at least 30% rb and by pass the rule. You can get higher rb if you monitor the lead boad dynamically but some time you can do nothing like you can not go back to position 3000 to get 55% rb while you are already at position 170 with around 35% rb.

It is also a wonderful deal for new commers because they would have the bonus on the top of the winnings.

But for existing player specially those play limit only, you would find there are no many limit tables all time and Ladbrokes doesn't offer any reload bonus via any of affi like RTR and so on. If they can offer reload bonus via RTR or so, it will be a great deal, then.
