I'm getting rakeback on FTP. Should I participate in Ironman? I'm getting rakeback on FTP. Should I participate in Ironman?

I currently get 27% of my rake back on Full tilt. If I "opt out" of the iron man challenge will I get more rakeback? Which is better? Does it matter if I make Iron every month? Thanks!

What is the most efficient use of points/medals?

just being in ironman does NOT affect your rb in any way...

for Iron man. FTP didn't want to give me my medals or end of year bonus. I sent them an email saying "why wouldn't I opt in? Why do you even have that option?" They sent me an email back saying some players who receive rakeback wouldn't want to "opt in"

lol at that answer from support. that's a lie. the real reason is they don't want fish who are oblivious to promos to get money back in the form of medals. apparently you were one since you played without knowing about it until recently.

Ironman cannot reduce your overall 27% rakeback that you get so there is no reason to opt out.

Just to clarify on this, what Fermion is saying is that if you consider whatever extra cash or prizes you receive to be a part of your overall rakeback, then Iron Man actually raises your rakeback percentage. It's just like with a bonus--if you get a $600 bonus, 27% of that ($162) is deducted from your rakeback. But you wouldn't give up that $600 just to get another $162 in rakeback, right? It's the same with Iron Man. Whatever benefits you receive, no more than 27% of that can be deducted from your rakeback.
