1. Do you lose rakeback by playing in standard FTP freerolls, if so how much and do you have to actually cash or play or register?

2. Is it +EV to play the one-a-day freeroll for Iron Man or is it not worth it considering hit to rakeback?

Yes you lose rakeback for playing in any freeroll on FTP.
If you are registered and it plays you will take a rakeback hit.

You divide prizepool by entrants and that is the hit to your MGR.

It'd be better to save up the medals and buy tourney tickets unless you're a super busto or something. (you take no rakeback hit for buying from the store, and you don't take a hit on the tourney unless there's an overlay)

Just to be clear, you do not get a hit for any freeroll run by your rakeback affiliate.

Best wishes

Ok so I played a .NET Onyx Cup Freeroll (i honestly dont know why) prize = tickets.
And a $150 dollar freeroll (45 man payout) did not cash.

Expected hit on rakeback?

I got rakeback on tuesday.
Since then rake according to HEM is $20.18 from cash games and $1.60 from SnGs
So 21.78 in rake. Expected rake (27%) should be $5.88 however rakeback pros is only showing $2.37?

If I'm paying FT points to enter a tourney does that affect my rakeback?

If only there was a helpful sticky somewhere that answered questions like this.

Yeah, reading comprehension fail on my part - I thought you meant from the FT store.

u don't take rakeback hits for playing onyx freerolls since there's no prize of value in the early rounds.

you have to know how many entrants entered the 150$ freeroll. prizepool \ entrants = mgr hit.

also the rakeback week = tues thru monday.

Ok so then thats - $.02 rakeback for me.

Alright now the new week has started.

The amounts of rakeback shown on rakebackpros site are almost half of expected rakeback. But then I read something about it displaying wrong amount but sending people correct amt?

This from Full Tilt Poker rakeback explanation:

Rake Contribution Rake for Full Tilt rakeback is calculated using a Weighted Contributed Method. The weighted contributed rake method credits rake to players based upon how much they have contributed to the pot. For example if a player contributes 20% to the pot then they will receive 20% of the rake from that pot. If however, a player does not contribute to the pot then they will not generate any rake.

Huge ball buster right here.

I thought rakeback would be so much better than PKS VIP system, evidently not because FTP screws you out of half of it. Not saying it is not fair, I just had higher hopes.
