Diamond Rakeback legit? Diamond Rakeback legit?

Anyone have an account with these guys? I got an offer from them, seems a little too good.

Post positive/negative experiences if anyone knows...

If it sounds too good then it most likly is. Stick to the big affiliates you see posting and advertising here.

What was this offer?

We certainly are legit and have many 2+2ers on our books. Although affiliates advertsiing here are solid for the most part, they are not the only operators in the industry capable of offering good rates and service.

Cheers, can you please point me towards someone here who has an account with you?

Me.

Been with Diamond for about 6 months. Excellant to deal with and pay rakeback somewhere between the 6th and 10th of the month.

I always love first time posters that sign up just to make a post like the one above. Even used the thumbs up.
01-08-2008 , 12:20 AM
Well I guess that is a response that I am not surprised about from this forum. Typical poster that has too much time on their hands. Why not accept the post as a genuine response to a genuine question from 2 members.

I use Diamond for two poker rooms that I can get a better deal from than advertised at other rakeback sites.

Once again the rates and service are excellant.

So you are getting an illegal rakeback deal then?

Heh, so I'm guessing that is what OP is talking about when he says too good to be true. OP, when affiliates are violating T&C's on sites they will almost certainly get caught eventualy. Either other affiliates or the sites themselves will bust them. Then you might go from a few percentage points higher to nothing. Just a risk you should consider when signing up for rakeback.
01-08-2008 , 01:38 AM
All of our deals are in accordance with the T&C's of the sites.

Yeah sorry dude, I know the post-count hierarchy here can be a little irritating, but look at it from our point of view; it's less than convincing when someone signs up simply to praise an affiliate who is being checked out.

Anyway, thanks for the responses from Diamond too. I have no real reason to suspect illegitimacy other than you're small, relatively unknown, and your offer seemed pretty good compared to the big names. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I'll be considering your offer.

I can't see it being illegal if the deals are freely advertised on their website

What poker rooms are these? All of the offers on their site are the cap aren't they? Also are affiliates allowed to have Bodog "Contact us" offers on their site?
01-08-2008 , 07:47 AM
I signed up a few days ago. Apart from a few hiccups in setting up, things are looking ok (for now anyway). Ill keep everyone posted if things dont seem "legit".

Not so if you're offering higher rates than what the big affiliates advertise. Just about every site that allows rakeback has a maximum rate cap and the large affiliates always offer the max allowed. Offering anything higher will get you shutdown and leave your players without rakeback.

I have an account with them too, been paid without any trouble, they are legit.

Everything ok with them, always been paid without any trouble.

I used them for a couple of months but got back much less than I expected every month and moved on. Dont know if it was their fault or the pokersite though.

Could it have been a contributed site or a site like FTP, AP or UB that deducts anything imaginable?
01-09-2008 , 07:45 PM
Nope, iPoker. And at all other iPoker-sites I have played at my MGR was exactly as in PT. The deal through DR got me about 20% below my estimated MGR in 3 consecutive months (then I left).

A quick review of past posts made by 'gulogulo' shows that he is cleary a affiliate for an ipoker room. it doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out what his agenda is with his posts in this thread...

For the record, we no longer offer ipoker rakeback.

Thank you to all our clients who have posted their experiances (all positive) in this thread.

Please be careful when chosing your affiliates everyone. As you can see this industry is full of people who will do anything for a buck.

Come on mate.
You know who I am.
You know how my PT stats was way off from what I got paid three months in a row. We had regular e-mail contact during this time and as I said, I dont know whos fault it is. It could be Hansa Pokers as well. All I did was to share my experience here. I used you to get Hansa rakeback and got about 20% less than my PT-mgr told me I should get in three consecutive months.
I gave you and Hansa a decent chance by staying for three months. If its not your fault then blame Hansa, not me. I'm not saying its you guys that made me get less than expected, just that I did get less.

Glass houses Diamond Rakeback, Glass Houses..

How many times have you been in trouble for offering more rakeback than allowed?

If you want, I'll past numerous emails from you etc and conversations with Full Tilt.

Or teaching people how to close their accounts to make new ones.

P.S. if you try and deny this, I can paste full logs with you, emails and conversations with Warren at Full Tilt
