Pokersource free gift requirment confusion Pokersource free gift requirment confusion

Hi, I'm about to sign up for pokerstars and wanted to take advantage of PSO's free poker tracker offer, but I'm confused about how the site decides you have earned it. PSO says you need to get 250FPP, but in the fine print it says:

"You must see the flop and the rake must be at least $.40 for fixed limit games for the hand to qualify."

I'm going to be playing micro stakes limit, so i don't see how its possible for me to ever clear the bonus. The lowest limits that reach $.40 max rake is .25/.50

Does this mean that I would have to play at least that limit to ever get the bonus? Thanks for the help.

\/ Thanks

You don't have to see the flop to get a point at Stars though, that info is not correct.

Pokeraddict is correct, I don't know why they stated that?

This is a requirement of PS to get a FPP, not something specific to PSO.

Because if the flop isn't seen by at least 2 players PokerStars don't take rake, so even if the pot is over the $8.00 required, the rake isn't 40cents so you don't get an FPP. The best way I found to get FPP was to sit at the loosest 50c/$1 limit tables, with at least 4 or 5 players to each flop, and you get about 1 FPP for every 6 or 7 hands. Play tight, and you can easily recoup your blinds and make quite a profit when you do hit really good hands.

Yes, but how many sites are there where you will get any points if there is no flop? "You must see the flop" usually means that you must be in the hand yourself after the flop to get points, which is not the case on Stars.

You should choose the 9.000 / 12.000 points instead and use them in the store to buy Poker Tracker, this way you can use the extra points to get a gift certificate or something.

I also think Poker Tracker 3 is going to be released soon, so perhaps it might be sensible to wait until its released so that you won't need to pay for an upgrade.

You could try clearing Carbon Poker instead, I think its possible to clear at your limit but do check the specifications. For me it took about 2k hands of NL25 and they don't have Poker Tracker support so you don't even miss out on anything

I'll bring this to their attention. This can't be right, unless something has changed recently.

flexie went on a 15-minute spree of fairly low content posting here. How long until he/she shows up in the P2P transfer thread?
