At MANSION Poker, your loyalty means everything.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce our VIP Loyalty Club – a player points system guaranteeing not only great benefits but even more prizes, exclusive promotions and special VIP rewards, exclusive to MANSIONPOKER.COM

Each time you play for Real Money (Cash games and Tournaments) you will earn VPP (VIP Poker Points) which are worked out completely separately to your normal MPP (MANSION Poker Points).

The more poker you play, the more VPP you will earn, allowing you to climb the levels and become eligible for bigger and better rewards…

i got that from mansion's site, but how do you earn vpp?
also, does that make mpp useless now?
i read mpp can be use for reload bonus, i can't find it, anybody can point me into right direction?

WTF, nobody play at mansion anymore?
03-30-2008 , 08:28 AM
why should we, there are way better deals in the ongame network

There VIP-program is a joke. The amount of Points you need to get to the higher levels are much much higher than on other sites on Ongame. The first level up on Mansion is Silver and you need 16000 points in one month (insane 250k for the highest).
On Hollywood you need 1250 Points in one month for the HIGHEST VIP level
On Pokerroom you need 1500 Points in one month for the HIGHEST VIP level

I can easily get to the highest VIP level at both Hollywood and Pokerroom. On Mansion I might get to the silver level if I only play at Mansion for a month and no other sites.

The conclusion is that if you want to play on Ongame, there is other skins that can offer you better deals.

i have under the impression that you earn MPP and VPP at the same time
my question is how DO YOU EARN VPP?.
i have 36% Rakeback at mansion
so if i can use MPP for reload, and earn VPP for other goodie
it may not be a that bad.

allysia,

you're correct in that you earn MPPs and VPPs at the same time, and at entirely different rates. I thought about this myself, since I also have 36% rakeback at their site. VPPs are earned waaaaaay quicker than MPPs, but it's kinda hard to figure out by how much since there's no place you actually can check to see your VPP tally...

I'm not at all surprised support was clueless, they've been so the times I've talked to them as well, especially with regards to the software and rules behind MPPs, bonuses etc. I still have my sign-up bonuses from the old Mansion site listed under 'Bonuses' in My Account, lol.

Soulman,

please make an estimate of the relation between VPP and MPP?
04-02-2008 , 07:42 AM
I cleared the first deposit bonus and collected ~3200 MPP. I got ~226000 VPP (NL100 SH).
04-02-2008 , 09:25 AM
Thanks DerRumbler.

This means you get 71 VPPs per MPP. For the bigger tickets (think it's the $300 live buy-in and up) this equals 17,66% rakeback for SNGs/MTTs, in addition to any rakeback you may have from an affiliate. However, I'd guess there's a decent chance bonus amounts are deducted from your MGR (asked my affiliate about this, awaiting an answer).

Anyway just using the 8x bonuses on Tower/RedKings et al is still more profitable (equal to 61%ish rakeback on SNGs/MTTs).

Are MCP under my account the same as MPPs?

That means it very easy to reach the highest VIP-level. As black requires 250 000 VPPs

It`s not MGR, but MCP. MCP are the basic Ongame points.

The 226000 Points VPP include the 10% Bonus Boost for Gold.

MCP is not the same than MGR, as you get the points for pots you contributed to. That means, if you contibute 1$ e.g. in the blinds into a 200$ pot you will get 3 Points.

Has anybody solved this yet?

In May, my first month, I played 10.5k hands of mostly 5max nl100, HM says $1090 mgr and I got 300k or 400k VPPs (the monthly statement says ~300k in May yet the total is ~400k ). I think I got about 4k MCPs that month

June I played same number of hands, mgr $1150 and got ~320k VPP (iirc somewhere around 4k MCPs again). Somehow my total after these two months was over 750k tho

With these numbers the VPPs would be about 15% dealt rb (0.05c/VPP for the expensive tourney tickets). They're upgrading their shop in September and apparently taking all the items currently in there away so can't say for sure.

why does anyone need a vip system? i mean you get easy 8x bottomless bonuses in an amount of your choice + shop! so why are people looking for vip systems?as if i get it correct the only option is to buy bonuses in the shops where on other sites the bonuses are for free and they have better shops ! like heypoker

Cos some ppl have a good deal on mansion and this VIP system is a nice bonus on top?
