Does opting into a bonus mean you are eliminating the possibility to opt into something else? I don't quite get this opting in I read about on here. Is it just to keep people not paying attention from getting the bonuses or is there often a choice between more than one bonus where you can't do them at the same time?

Lastly, there are some paragraphs for you and do you think that on average FTP is better at my limits because of bonuses like these or is this a rare thing that I should take advantage of and go back to lower rake at PS?

EDIT: Let me rephrase that last part a little, what site do you recommend for someone at my ultramicro stakes and a US player...FTP, Party and PS are the US Player options for the most part right?

Im not sure, i dont play at those stakes, but you should definately do this promo, its ten buy ins just for playing at your normal stakes. If you sign up for rakeback as well you will get the most out of this.


at full tilt you get pop ups asking you to confirm you want to opt in. i have seen threads where people say they didnt do this, and they didnt get the bonus/freeroll/whatever.

This is a good promo from FT. Unfortunately, since they won't give me rakeback, it will be my last promo before I withdraw.

So other than going to the My Promotions page and clicking on take2 like the website says to what do I have to do to opt in? I have not seen any pop-ups. Do they occur randomely and do I need to opt in every time one happens?

FWIW, even though the rake at FTP is higher, after RB, the rake is lower.

FT: 0.01 per 0.15 in pot = 6.67% rake
Stars: 0.05/ 1.00 in pot = 5% rake

You will get 27% RB @ FT, which makes the effective rake 4.869%

Thus it stands that FT+RB >Stars, unless you are atleast SN.

I'm starting to think there was a problem with the automatic calculations and they figured it out and manually credited everyone yesterday. I've just played a little bit today, and am showing 38.5 on the Iron Man page, and 32.5 on Take 2. Seems to be working perfectly in "real time" now.

Mine seemed to only credit half again today, I'll check in a few hours to see if it gives me another delayed update.

Anybody know how this Take 2 promo affects bonus medals for the daily Ironman points? I wasn't paying attention and I finished the day around 990 points on the regular Ironman page, but Take 2 gave me another 700 points or thereabouts so far. Will these points combine, giving me more bonus medals for the day?

Guys, this happened last time with Take 2 and to be honest, everything on the iron man page has lag at times. Sometimes you can see it with the present time in the iron man challenge page and how it's lagging behind, but there's no time on the other pages.

The only one that ever seems to be up to date all the time is the cashier counter and the customized widget which keeps track of points earned for the day.

First the biggest bonus promotion and then this. Wow FTP is really giving back compared to pokerstars.

The take 2 is great for micro players. Basically there giving free money without having to play much to earn it.

In order to get any crap from pokerstars you have to play like 20 tables for hours.

With FT rakeback i still think you make out better on FT over Stars in the micros even though full tilts rake is slightly higher.

You do get more points on FT then you would get on stars even if FT points are valued for less you do have alot of 2x and 3 x promotions going on and FT point system crushes stars for the very low micros.

Yeah it is the same rake so FTP is better with the rakeback.

Especially at 2NL you are better with pokerstars because so few pots even have a rake there. At 5NL and 10NL I still think PS is better as far as the cost of rake only goes. Pots over a dollar will be about even with the rakeback but pots under a dollar will be in favor of PS since there is no rake.

So it all depends on which promotions are going on but without a decent or better one from FTP, PS is the way to go at 10NL or lower IMO. Right now I have been playing at FTP until I get the 1 point (15-30 mins) and then switching over to PS although I have a deposit bonus going at both. PS's deposit bonuses are crap with the x25. FTPs are x16.67 and easier to clear with all the extra rake going on (which isn't a positive unless you are a nit IMO).

I am playing NL5 CAP and 1-2 orbits does it as everyone just pushes to the cap every hand haha. Plus its funny sitting at a NL5 table with your entire bankroll for no reason hahaha.

I love this promo. Takes me a minute or two to get a point at .5/1 stud (or stud h/l).
