FTP RB vs Stars bonuses FTP RB vs Stars bonuses

I have recently switched over to 1/2 NL Full Ring on FTP. I am sure that I can reach 80k hands a month playin many tables. Anyways, i was wondering if FTP RB is more profitable than stars bonuses if I put in 80k hands a month at 1/2 NL FR. I think it would be something around $2500 if I played at FTP in RB. Can someone tell me how much money I could earn in bonuses on stars every month with the same volume? Thanks.

80k hands
~0.45 VPP per hand
x 3.5 FPP when supernova
1.6 cents per FPP (buying 4k bonus per 250K FPP)
80k*0.45*3.5*0.016
=2016$ (without factoring in freerolls and milestones)

but your 2.5K rakeback at FT seems too high. for a 100k hand sample i have a MGR of around 7k. not playing at tilt but maybe its a lot looser there than at ipoker/party/stars

Seems optimistic. I play this exact game and get ~$200 RB per 10000 hands. At 80000 hands/mo, that's $1600. Iron Man promo with mid year/year end bonuses should be worth another $175-$250/mo depending on what month you're in. And at 80000 hands you should earn another $150/mo in FTPs (which can be sold).

So you are looking at up to $2000/mo in RB+bonus on FTP for that volume and game.

Yea i think you are right. I did the rake calculator that the site has on its main page and I played that many hands and it totally doesnt come out to 2500. Earn $150/mo in FTPs? I dont see that anywhere in the FTP store. Where is that? Also, anyone have any opinions on which they think is the better program for a 1/2 grinder either stars or ftp?

You can sell FTPs here on the marketplace or on FTPs boards. You'd get a little over $200 worth of points in a month and then lose 27% of that on your RB when you spend them on someone else's behalf.

I wanted to play on Stars but it would take me months to get SN. I didn't want to sacrifice RB for 5-7 months. You'd get there a bit sooner, maybe 2-3months.

Another option is to play both sites. Just the minimum to make Iron on FTP every month, and you'll capture most of the value. Then play the rest on Stars and get SN.

This is my plan, too.

Right now, I'm playing Full Tilt with Rakeback. I think it's too late in the year for me to switch to Stars and earn Supernova by the end of this year, but starting Jan. 1 next year, splitting my time seems like a good short term plan.

Get my 200 points on FT daily and put the rest of time in at Stars. Once I reach Supernova, I'll probably cash out of Full Tilt completely because at that point, Stars basically becomes equal to FT with Rakeback.
