So I dont really play games on my computer besides poker. But got a new computer today and picked up Call of Duty MW2 and a logitech controller. And cant seem to get it to work. Can somebody HELP

True. OP could you tell us the make, model and some specs of your computer? Processor and video card will let us help, but my first guess is that you got a low end computer that doesn't have the graphics card to run a new, graphics intensive game.

Does not compute, why would you need a logitech controller to play CoD MW2?

Sorry guys I'm a computer noob. Read somewhere I need a program like xpadder to make this work. Maybe I should just learn to play with mouse and keyboard. Anyway here are some specs and guess it is on the low end.

That computer actually isn't on the low end, but it will be hard to help you without a more specific description of the problem....

Are you having trouble getting the game to work, or just the controller? What does your computer do when you try to do whatever it is that isn't working (error messages, freezing, nothing at all, etc.)?

The graphics in your computer is absolutely pathetic. You'll need to buy a video card before you can even think about playing FPS like MW2.

Most definitely. I could see there being a few exceptions to this (especially reeeeeeally old games), but there's no reason a 32-bit game shouldn't work on a 64-bit OS.

First, graphics card = video card.

Next, before you could possible proceed, you need the above. What you have is a bleeding edge modern PC game and NO graphics card to play it with. I suspect you aren't having any problems with the Logitech controller (hell, it probably is plug & play), but are experiencing problems solely because your system is choking on the game.
