I had an AT&T aircard as my first one, and currently have a Verizon aircard.

All there is to say is that IME Verizon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AT&T

I just got the verizon as my only only other option for internet at home was dialup or satellite.

Loving it so far.

+1

The speed difference is negligible between the two, but Verizon's coverage area is at least 5x the size of AT&T's. If you want more info you can check the sticky at the top of the forum.

In many metro areas, Verizon is much faster than AT&T. The reason is the iPhone. In NYC, AT&T's 3G network is so overburdened that they stopped shipping new iPhones to New Yorkers for a couple of weeks this winter.

+1 for verizon. I live in the greater Seattle, WA area and my brother and I use the Verizon USB modem to play poker all over and haven't ever had issues
