My free trial is about to run out. I'm thinking about paying for this, but I'm a tech-tard. First educated opinion makes my decision for me. If thumbs down what should I get?

If you are a true tech-tard and can afford it then it seems like a decent investment. If you have even just a bit of tech sense you can probably find most of these things for free out on the web.

The free stuff that are easy to find are Anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-phishing, and firewall. As far as performance tune-ups and back-up and restore, I'm not really sure what they do for this.

All in all, I think it depends on how much you trust yourself with handling these issues. It sounds like letting someone else(whether it be Microsoft or not is the best option in your case)

I've heard nothing but bad things about this product.
Do some google searches for comparisons. Some rate it so badly it's laughable...
