basically, im in my 2nd year at uni and we have out own internet so of course i can play internet poker (yay), next year, however, i am going to be moving back onto campus where internet is free, except its on the universities 'server' so they ban things such as internet poker etc. you can ask them to unblock ports for things like wow i think but in the past they haven't taken kind to people wanting to play internet poker on campus.
im at UWA (uni of wales aberystwyth, Uk) if that helps anyone, just wondering if any genius knows of any way to bypass the system they may have? i play on unibet under the name FrontRunner

any help would be class, ciao

He means use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) solution. Read about what exactly it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_network

Many people in online poker already use VPNs for a variety of reasons, so I suspect that's why Freakin gave you a very short answer. It's ok not to know what it is

I would take a look at this forum for VPN topics, there is already a good amount of discussion that's gone on about it already, like what providers to use, etc... If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.
