Was using the laptop tonight, wasn't doing anything too weird - just surfing the internet as usual, and I wasn't watching porn or going to sketch websites.

Suddenly my laptop ends up restarting - I thought it was weird but I was multitasking at the time so I figured maybe I pressed something or whatever and didn't think much of it.

Anyways, after the restart I get a popup from Windows Firewall, which I have disabled since I have ZoneAlarm, saying there is a dangerous trojan or something, called Trojan.Zlob.G. I then get taken to this website: http://www.defender-review.com/?a=112.

I closed out of it. After doing some research online, I found out that it is a fake website: http://removal-tool.blogspot.com/200...om-threat.html

Shortly after I started going back online after the restart my internet froze and the above happened again.

Do I have a trojan now or what is the deal? I am going to be running an AV scan, SuperAntiSpyware, etc., etc. in the meantime.

Did you run SAS? If not, go ahead. Post the log either way.


Have you scanned with AVG? Are you satisfied with it? I recommend a different AV. Avira personal. www.free-av.com



Your logs don't show any indication of a bad infection, that file that MBAM detected and deleted might not have been executed. From your HJT log, I don't see any browser Hijackers or redirections or anything like that, are you still getting redirected to those websites?

Go ahead and follow these steps.



Download install and update SUPERAntiSpyware

www.superantispyware.com


Don't scan yet.

Also download and install CCleaner.

www.ccleaner.com

Install without the yahoo toolbar.


Now boot into safe mode by tapping F8 until you get a menu. Select safe mode and hit enter. Once in safe mode, perform this cleaning with CCleaner on each user account, including the safe mode admin account.


CCleaner>Windows tab>Make sure all of these are checked, uncheck the other boxes.

Analyze>Run cleaner. Do this once more to make sure it deletes everything.
