Dell Inspiron 6000. Upgraded memory from 512MB to 2GB Ram. Is there any point of me saving these sticks or should i just throw them away?

Is your mem running dual channel?

Bah, just looked up ur lappy's specs.

You might as well sell them, or just keep them, cuz they might come in handy down the road.

Inspiron 6000 has 2 slots. The new ones one bought are 1gb each for 2gb total from corsair. I have 2 sticks of 256mb from my laptop. Its samsung brand. I also have a 512mb stick as well from my desktop which i also upgraded to 2gb. Do you know much i can sell it for? I guess at most 10 dollars since its used?

Check e-bay for it, but it's probably not going to be worth the effort. Hang onto it for backup or toss it.
