This falls under the just because you can doesn't mean you should category. Having a setup with 3 30s means that you are taking up one large desk and not planning on moving the setup anytime. Are you really going to be using the computer that often when you are not at your desk? Even if you are, there are plenty of ways to share files between a normal laptop and a basic desktop connected to the 30s.

just doesnt make sense to pay so much to hook up 30" monitors to a laptop when the money you have to spend can be cheaper if you buy a desktop :P

Lol i saw the thread title and said "nope, sorry". I didn't expect the thread to actually be a how-to.

Also, this really is a great option for many players who don't want to separately configure their desktop and laptop. We've had posts every month or two for people asking for this so clearly it is something people want

the thing is like $400. Just hard for me to justify the price when you could buy a whole new desktop (or most of one) for the price of this graphics solution. I realize people don't want to configure 2 PC's separately, but damn lol.

Poker players are a pretty price-insensitive demographic. They want something to work they way they envision and this product actually makes it happen.

Seriously this product should probably be put in the sticky just for the number of times it has been asked about.

The best part is that the OP wants 3 30s so he can 12 table.
If he adds any more tables he'll have to build a cowboy stadium setup.

If he turns the 30" monitors to be in portrait orientation, you'll be able to 18 table.
