how the hell do i do this. I just bought a pc and want to install windows 7 on my ssd hd. Now do i have to make a recovery dvd? I treid that and got some stupid error when i was selecting the dvd burner. They put the ssd hd in after windows was installed.

You basically just put in your installation disk and click ok 3 times.
You have to make sure that the IDE mode of the SATA controller your ssd is plugged into is set to AHCI in your bios.

Do you even have a real installation media or just an OEM license?
