Problem with my email Problem with my email

On my desktop, I use outlook express as my email client. In the past if I click on an email address on the web, it would open outlook express to send an email which was great.

But now it instead opens Outlook.

Any idea what settings I have to change to get it to open outlook express instead of outlook when I click on an email link on the web?

You can set the default email program in the Internet Options dialog box.

Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
Click Programs tab and select your email client from the drop-down list.
Once selected, click OK button and close the dialog.

Note that you will require an Administrator-level account to change the default email client as this is a system-wide setting.

It appears that the problem of how to change the default mail client back to Outlook Express had been solved. As to how it happened, possibly you installed (or uptdated) Microsoft Office. Most likely an install or update decided for you that you should "upgrade" to the presumably superior Outlook.
