Pokerstars not downloading.

I'm rather illiterate when it comes to computers and have encountered an issue when trying to download the pokerstars software.
Every time I try to start the download it will stall at a certain percentage and never finish. It never gives me an error message either. It's quite frustrating. I have contacted pokerstars support and they have given me alternate download links but none of them have worked either.
On a weird side note, I downloaded pokerstars.net software with no issue (by accident)
If anyone has any ideas of what is going on I would greatly appreciate the help.

That's really weird if .net is working but not .com.
Other than updating your drivers, update windows, .net framework etc I have no idea.
