i just started on ongame a few days ago. and it has crashed several times.
what happens is that it just shuts down in the middle of everything and all tables and the lobby disappears. i've heard to run stuff through ramdisk or something is suppose to help but haven't found a guide or anything and since i'm not very good on technical stuff i wonder if someone could help me.
I don't get BSOD's but I have seen it shut down a few times when I first started. Apparently it needs a constant connection or it'll shut down. How fast and reliable is your broadband connection.
hmm i have 24/1mb adsl. and i'm from sweden and our connection usually works good. also i dont have any other problems with my internet while playin.
i'm thinkin it prolly has to do with my computer if it's me and not ongame.
i have a pretty old one, don't know the exakt numbers but it's about 3 years old. it was pretty tiptop when i bought it though and it works very well for everything besides ongame. i also have trouble with the client laggin when i play over 8 tables.
a friend talked about using ramdisk so i wonder if that might be a solution?
i'm just a bit confused since both my computer and broadband works very well for everything else.
