Not enough disc space to save

I keep getting this message whenever I download anything, even if it's a file that's puny. I know I have a ton of space so I can't figure out what the issue is. I've deleted all the files in my temp download folder. It seems like if I delete some things on my computer it goes away temporarily but then the next day I still can't download anything. Anybody know what the issue might be?
