So i need a new TV for living room, old one is prehistoric now..

Lookd around a little and read some of the posts here about TVs but they seem a bit old and maybe dated now?

I think i know what i would like, LCD 1080p not sure about size thou but i think 46-47 would be pretty solid... not sure which is the best place to go look and compare some of these TV, main uses would be for gaming (xbox 360 and prolly a ps3 when i decide to get one), watching Films on and sky stuff. ..

price range around £1k mark but cheeper the better but at the same time dont wanna loose too much on quality of the picture...

Does having it 100Hz make a HUGE diffrence? i would prefer to have it but am not sure...

Planning on going to shops 2moro to see what diffrent sizes are like...

So any advice would be welcome ...
