as title says i wanna buy new laptop to grind multisites while running pt4 etc
i been told anything with no less than 8gb and decent size ssd will do fine with any decent processor (no idea what processors are decent tbh)
i wanna use this laptop hooked up to my dell 24" ultrasharp monitor 1920x1200 res so if i buy a laptop with lower res will the res of the laptop show on monitor? if so is there anything u can buy to combat this cable / box etc? so that i still get res of my dell?
i roughly wanna spend anything from £200-£450 but obv the less i can as long as its decent and will do the job i want it to
so that being said any help or input is much appreciated and obv if you get any links i can look at and possibly buy feel free to link me

It'll be very hard to find anything within your needs for that kind of price tbh.
Perhaps you should up your budget by 2-3 hundred pounds.
This is the first one that comes to my mind, but it has a dedicated card which you won't really need.
The thing is, finding a laptop on those prices without being a i5/7-4/5XXXU is pretty impossible. And a core U for multi table + PT4 might be not enough.
perhaps i should of said im not looking to buy only new im ok to buy used or refurbed etc and im quite sure i can pick 1 up on ebay or something for the higher end of my budget its just knowing if its gonna do the job so if anyone is browsing ebay.uk or other sites and comes across anything that suits for me plz link

Hey mate, I suggest you look into Acer Aspire V Nitro. As much as I dislike Acer and its quality, this model comes with very nice hardware and in a slim and somewhat slicky package. I was able to get a brand new one for roughly $800 (4core i7, 8Gb Ram, Geforce GTX 860m) this summer, though I'm not from UK. But there are even cheaper variations with i5. It work pretty nice with my Dell 2412 display via hdmi. SSD is not a must for PT4 and HEM, I'm comfortably able to multi table with 20+ games on the stock 5400 HDD.

about the hooking up monitor thing when u do do you get resof laptop or the screen as i said i have dell ultrasharp 1920x1200 and love it so will i get that res even if laptop is lower specs?

you should be able to play with it for the next 2-3 years before it get too outdated its around $350 and it good for its price
thx for the reply happygoround but im deffo looking for 8gb min as base anything more in my price range is bonus altho someone mentioned im deffo 100% also gonna get ssd even if i have to buy after and install myself cos i want this laptop to last me a good few years so gonna maximise any potential it has from the off i reckon what with xmas coming and boxing day / jan sales i will get a very good laptop with the specs in my price range

Yes from what I heard there's a cable that u attach to the monitor cable what then gives u the average resolution of both the laptop and the monitor I have a link someone sent me will post tmoro sometime
