Music player software

I'm looking for a nice simple piece of software to play music on my computer. I like the Itunes interface but there are other aspects of the software that puts me off, so I don't want to use it.
Are there any simple players out there, that will show my library in a simple manner, without sending me to a store to purchase music or doing anything else except simply letting me play music? I dislike software that automatically reassigns file assosiations, or starts processes on startup without asking me, or sucks up my system resources or tries to sell me things I don't want. I just want to play music
