Like I mentioned in title

is it me or is because the update firefox did?
It can be a dumb question, but I am a bit unsure what to do
I experienced the last month alot of crashes and freezes , ( min 15 times per day) it autoshuts my firefox, or notifies me it doesnt respond anymore.

Also browsing in general got slower then before. I am not that uber in checking stats or infects maybe?
Shud I run some checks or downgrade firefox if this is a common issue?
But I am almost convinced its firefox browser itselve cuz I have Opera, IE , and cometbird as well installed and they seem to run fine.

Do you have the latest 3.5.3 installed? I use firefox all day at both work and home with quite a few addons and it never crashes on me.

yes i did installed the new version
its just a bit weird since all other browsers are working normal and fine

Shud I check something on my cmputer maybe why this is happening?

Skype extension is known to be very very buggy. There have been dozens of complaints about it on this forum.

I recommend replacing the McAfee SiteAdvisor with Web of Trust.

.NET framework assistant is useless. Uninstall it.

SEO toolbar should only be used when doing SEO research. Disable it for general web browsing.

Mega Manager is another notoriously buggy extension.

yes SEO toolbar is necessary for me all day.
i need it for research as U mentioned,
So basicly i uninstalled all of em except SEO toolbar.

Ill give it a testride for a day and see what happens

Only one Question : the extension Mcafee Siteadvisor is apart from my Mcafee Viruscan right? its just an indicator for safe browsing I assume, i think it just autoinstalled when installing Mcafee in the first place.

Allright, normally Firefox would have crashed by now 2 times lol
But apparantly after denstalling extensions as adviced, my browser goes faster again, and I experience no lag nor any crash atm.
maybe its too early to celebrate, but I do see a big difference in speed and browsing.

You mean on the stored passwords? Afaik, no. Maybe theres an plugin for that.

Just don't store that information in browsers, use KeePAss.
