I bought a new 24" Samsung monitor a couple of weeks ago, and have been having some problems.When I start my PC nothing comes up on my screen after the "Microsoft" symbol. The "sign in" page doesn't appear?? This doesn't happen every time, though.
Unhooked new monitor and reattached old monitor and everything was fine.Then, reattached NEW monitor, without shutting down, and it was fine; so problem seems to be at start-up.
One additional piece of information: When the screen DOES appear it says that the screen resoloution is not set at "Optimal" resoloution. Went into control panel and resolution is at max. 1920x1080
Any help would be appreciated.
