Looking for a laptop shell

Hey guys, recently I dropped my laptop (macbook pro 17") and it separated (not cracked, really) 2 parts in the back of my laptop to the point where it will slightly get worse until it breaks completely (1 month's time, imo). It will cost 800 to fix so I'm wondering if there is a hard shell for my laptop I can buy kinda like a phone case that will protect it from further damage.

Duct tape that thing up! I think I've seen hard cases for MBP but not at an Apple store, at some other authorized dealers store.
