Liquid Cooled PowerEdge 2900? Liquid Cooled PowerEdge 2900?

These are the specs and a couple stock photos of a lab server I'm running. I love this thing, except for the fact that it sounds like a C-130 getting ready to take off when the room it's in starts to warm up a bit. I'm looking for a liquid cooled solution to this problem, but I don't have a lot of experience with liquid cooling systems.

First question. Is there a kit available for my PowerEdge 2900 as is?

Second question. If not, what other suggestions, besides putting the server in a colder room, would you make to help reduce noise.

Oh, and all vents on the tower are clear and plenty of ventilation space around the server

Thanks

sure you have enough fans in there? good lord....

helpful hint: your processor has is a socket 771 (I think)
a few good links from when I quited my pc a while ago(I didn't watercool it though, just more efficient fans and such:
http://fredrik.hubbe.net/silence/cpu.html
http://www.quietpcusa.com/
Link I found:
http://www.overclock.net/faqs/109598...ercooling.html
and obviously:
http://www.overclock.net/faqs/114826...flon-tape.html

watercooling is no cheap/easy deal, but if you can get it to work correctly you can get a damn quiet pc, good luck.

Did you ever get anywhere with using a liquid cooling kit? Think I'm going deaf listening to our server all day.

There are noise dampening server racks that are basically over-built wood cases with racks in them.

They are designed for companies that run servers in office space instead of in a server closet. They aren't cheap but they're nice to look at and are supposed to be effective.
