Confused About Butt Stuff

i was on firefox browser, and all of a sudden my laptop froze and i just turned it off. now i can't even get it to start.


here is a picture of what i get at start up:




anyone know what's wrong? thanks.

after it enters post (the above screen) what does it do? does it go to a black screen? does it freeze/ appear to be stuck on loading windows? does it keep restarting?

could be a failed hdd (seems like your pc isnt recognizing it for what ever reason)

first things first, unplug laptop and remove battery, then hold power switch down for 30-60s. Also reset bios to default settings if you can get into it.
