Hi i have recently moved house and am finding the wireless router constantly disconnects my laptop, mobile phone and PS3. The signal strength bounces around a lot from 50% to 80%

My laptop can stay connected for an hour, the next hour it will kick me of 10 times.

PS3 -

"Unable to obtain I.P address"
"Error code 80710b23"

Laptop

"Wireless association failed because windows did not receive response from wireless router or access point"

My phone, ps3 and laptop are fine on other wifi networks.

Hopefully this makes sense to somebody and they can help me

Reading a similar thread i have downloaded inSSIDer.

My RSSI is around -65 with an orange line. It is on the 2.4ghz Channel along with another connection. I dont know what this means however!

Would a powerline adapter be a solution?

I got one of these last week for an area of the house where Wi-Fi has always been extremely weak, and it works great. It was a little bit finicky to get it going initially, but it's been fantastic since I did.

I use these for gaming on my xbox upstairs and they are the nuts imho. AT LEAST as fast as wifi. I cant think of anything bad about them.

Keep in mind ull either have to put the adapter into a separate router or buy a separate adapter for every appliance, unless u dont mind only having one appliance at a time being connected.

Or you can collect multiple devices wirelessly (is that a word?) if you get a model where the second unit is wireless.

This is what I got:

Or MOCA, which IMO is more reliable.
